6000 / 8000 series

Both of these ranges have been popular for many years. This is because they are light, so they can be used by young and old alike, and they produce a tone of the very highest quality. The superb finish and the chrome-plated parts ensure that they not only sound good, but are a joy to look at as well.

Shell qualities

Snare Drums
Lightweight birch shell with beech support hoops (BB). Md. 6306A & 8306A with chromium-plated steel shell (ST). Md. 6410A & 8410A with mat chr. plated brass shell (BC). Md. 8512A with clear laquered brass shell (BR).

Bass & Tenor Drums
Lightweight birch shell with beech support hoops (BB).

Timp-Toms
Solid (7 mm) beech wooden shell (BE). All drums & timp-toms finished in pure white as standard, other colours possible at no extra charge.

Lugs
Chromium-plated double lugs (heavy-duty). (Single lugs for timp-toms.)

Rims
Strong forced steel rims (chromium-plated) for 6000-serie & die-cast (chromium-plated) rims for 8000 serie. Md. 8512A with die-cast (blue epoxy-coated) rims. Die-cast aluminium rims for bass drum (black epoxy-coated). Other epoxy colours for rims at extra charge.

Snares
Unique, fully adjustable parallel A-snare mechanism (with 2x10-strand wire snares) mounted on the hoop. 6000JC-models have a simple single action C-snare mechanism.

Snare & Tenor Drums
With multi-angle carrying bar and felt damper strip (6" snare also with leg rest).

Bass Drums
With 4 carrying eyes and "all around muffler".

Timp-Toms
Without harness. (Different model harnesses available at extra charge)
